Forcite was founded by two University of New South Wales graduates, Alfred Boyadgis and Julian Chow, based on a product idea that helps Police motorcycle officers reduce reaction times, giving them the “foresight” to save lives using advanced computer-vision and live streaming technologies. The product won the prestigious Red Dot award, Silver Dyson award and also a Braun Design award in Germany.
Through the advancement in technology Forcite built up the IP of the company and created the first smart helmet for motorcycling, designed to deliver visual and audio turn by turn navigation and automatically record dashcam footage without distracting the rider. By utilising live online data the Forcite helmet can also warn the rider when approaching road hazards and navigate to new places. Forcite feels that this technology will be beneficial for first responders and motorcycle enthusiasts. In the future, the system can be integrated and paired to vehicles to expand the smart helmet ecosystem.
