Uniseed led a Series Seed raise of $2.1 million into Solaris AI, a University of Queensland spin out developing innovative software technology that will increase the operational efficiency of large solar farms. The team is led by UQ researcher Dr Rahul Sharma, Senior Lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Solaris AI is addressing the reported 5%-40% drop in ROI due to soiling and hidden underperformance that costs solar farms $1,500/MW/annum. The disruptive & scalable Solaris technology provides enhanced performance monitoring along with increased cost savings to the site owner.
