These coatings can be used to improve the efficiency, reliability and performance of LED and other devices. Examples of the company’s products include: anti-reflective coatings that minimize Fresnel losses of LED optics e.g. lenses and covers; barrier layer coatings that reduce sulfur tarnishing; and planarizing layers that reduce light scattering and improve light coupling.

Uniseed Chief Executive Officer, Peter Devine, said: “Brisbane Materials is poised to pioneer the application of anti-reflective coatings to the LED market and deliver best-in-class efficiencies.  After several years of development and optimization, Brisbane Materials have established a unique product-market fit and have the potential to quickly expand into adjacent market segments.”
